In The Begining . . . . .

When my boyfriend (Jeff) began asking me if i'd like to go fishing on my own, i really thought he was being funny. But as I go on and go out on the boat more and more I am thinking it would be a great idea. He even has told me to 'take her' (which mean steer the boat, for non-nautical folks), So, there i was standing there wheel in hand looking out in the water avoiding gear and other floating stuff in the water, it was like I had always done it.  Almost easier then driving a car.  There is still LOTS to learn.. such as knots, docking (actully scares me to DEATH), what direction the wind is, tides and how they effect gear and the boat, fixing gear, setting gear, how much rope (measured in fathoms) for how much water, LAWS and LAWS and more LAWS, did i meation laws (lol.. there are too many now), and some other things also.    Docking as I said is scary, its like paraell parking a car in a slide.

So, I am going to use this blog to document my journy of becoming a lobsterman (lobsterwomen doesn't have that RING to it and i don't mind calling myself a lobsterman).

One thing..
I don't take kindly to ANYONE making fun of my spelling or grammer and You bet your butt I am going to say something you will NOT like if you do.. NOt everyone is perfect and if someone has these issues usually there is something that causes it.. As i do not discuss my disablities with ANYONE exscept my friends, my bf, and my drs.. please do NOT try to fix, make fun of, pick on, email me about, say anything about MY spelling or my grammer.. Thank You.
